School History

School History

St. Mark's Lutheran School was established in 1963. The congregation wished to provide the children in the congregation with a quality education program in a Christian setting. We have grown from a single kindergarten classroom in 1963 to the largest K-8 Evangelical Lutheran school in the nation. We are blessed with a diverse student population which reflects the racial composition of Hacienda Heights and its surrounding communities.
