FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2020 - NO LIVE STREAM CLASSES FOR THE LION’S LEARNING DEN
As Quarter 1 comes to an end for both our students and teachers, our teachers need enough time to complete certain necessary technology tasks. In order to give our teachers that extra time to complete these end-of-quarter actions, the Lion’s Learning Den will not present live stream classes this Friday, October 9th. Each teacher, however, will decide individually if they will post assignments. Kindergarten through 4th Grade families should check with your respective teachers. Students in the 5th through 8th Grades should check with their individual class teachers for specific instructions.
FALL CONFERENCES WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15TH FROM 12:30 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. AND FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16TH FROM 12:30 P.M. – 3:30 P.M.
Kindergarten through 4th grade teachers will be emailing all parents of their students to schedule your conference times. Please look for this email and respond promptly to request your times.
5th through 8th grade teachers will only be requesting conferences for students whom they believe a conference is necessary. If you have not received an email from your child’s teacher by Tuesday, October 6th, but would like to request a conference, please reach out to your child’s teacher directly and they will schedule a time for you to meet.
All conferences will be held remotely through Teams. Once your child’s teacher has confirmed your meeting time, they will give you further instructions on how you will be able to join the meeting using your child’s Microsoft Teams account.
LION’S LEARNING DEN / TECHNOLOGY QUESTIONS
Parents, we realize there will be questions about live stream learning for your children. Please contact us at email@example.com if you have technology-related questions. Please include your name and your child’s name and grade. You may have questions about logging in, connections, or joining a meeting. Connecting directly with our IT Support Team will streamline the process for you. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this new platform together.
