SCHOOL SPELLING BEE DATE CHANGE

Due to the increase in COVID positivity cases for LA County and for the safety of our participants and everyone involved in the bee, the School Spelling Bee previously scheduled for January 16, 2021 has been rescheduled. This event will now take place on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 9:00 am in the school Gym. The Saturday competition in the school Gym is for the top five spellers in the 4th through 8th Grades. The attendees are limited to the 25 participants, the judges, and no more than two family members per participant. Should the regional Scripps Spelling Bee take place in March 2021, the winner and his/her family will make the decision as to whether or not to attend that event.
