IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR PARENTS OF PRESCHOOL AGED STUDENTS
Beginning February 12th and through February 26, 2020, current preschoolers may be re-enrolled for the 2020- 2021 school year. If you have a child ready to start preschool, enrollment began on February 12th. As of February 27th, we will fill any available preschool spaces with new incoming students. In the past, we have been at capacity by the end of the school year (May 2020) or earlier. Our goal is to give top priority to siblings of current students. To ensure that your child may attend SML Preschool, we strongly encourage you to enroll in a timely manner before we open the enrollment to the public. If you have multiple children to enroll either in the elementary, preschool, or both, it absolutely makes enrollment easier for the Office if you enroll them all at the same time. We will ensure that you receive the proper tuition reduction for your family.
ST. MARK'S TEACHER AND STAFF TEA
Our annual teacher and staff appreciation luncheon to thank our teachers and staff for all their hard work throughout the year is NEXT MONDAY, MARCH 2nd, 2020 at 11:30am! We still need help from our St. Mark's families to make this event a success. Please sign up to volunteer your time and your delicious food donations and show your appreciation for all that they do for our children, our families and the St. Mark’s community. We are still looking for volunteers to help with set-up, food service, playground supervision and clean-up, as well as food donations. At this time, we really need more appetizers, sides and main entrees/hot foods. Please note: volunteers for playground supervision must sign up by Friday, February 28, 2020. This is an excellent way to get those last few family commitment hours before the April 30 deadline. Please refer to the Teacher Tea Flyer for more information or contact Tanya Yee at email@example.com with any questions, volunteer sign-ups, and food contributions.
SAVE THE DATE FOR THE TALENT SHOW AUDITIONS!
The Talent Show audition sign-up form is included in the weekly family emails for your convenience or available in the office. It is due on March 27, 2020. The auditions for the May 2020 Talent Show will be held on one day only, Saturday, April 25, 2020. Please save the date, as no other auditions will take place - no exceptions. On this day, the auditions will start early in the morning and will continue through the afternoon as needed. Please direct any questions to Ms. Lopez. firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you!
ATTENTION 8TH GRADE PARENTS - BABY PICTURES ARE NEEDED!
The 2020 Yearbook theme is "Roar On and Grow On." As part of this theme, the yearbook staff is creating a fun trivia page that shows how much the eighth grade students have grown over the years. This page will be filled with baby pictures of the 8th grade students.
The March 6, 2020 deadline is fast approaching, so please submit a photo taken of your 8th grader as a baby as soon as possible. Send the photo electronically to Ms. Ochoa at email@example.com and include the student's name and homeroom in the subject line.
If you can't send the photo via email, you can submit the actual photo in an envelope with the student's name and homeroom marked on the front to Ms. Stiens. We will scan the photo and return it to you.
